While on a family trip to Miami, my father rented a yacht on Miami Beach for us to enjoy the ocean together. The weather was perfect and the sun was beginning to set. As a group who love to make memories together, we instantly began taking pictures. We moved from sitting on the bench seats, to the very front of the yacht upon Colin's request, as my sister took pictures of us together. In a few minutes, Colin went from wrapping his arms around me, to getting down on one knee and asking me to MARRY HIM and of course I began sobbing uncontrollably and said YES! While hugging each other, Colin asked me to turn around and to "look at who was there". Colin's parents had flown all the way to Miami for the day to be there as he proposed along with my parents. My sister got it all on camera, and it turns out that the yacht, the idea to take pictures, and the gorgeous rental car we got to drive all weekend was all a part of Colin's awesome surprise. We are engaged, in love, and can't wait to to share this next chapter in our lives with you.
