Annabelle Griffin
Maid of Honor
Annabelle is Celeste's youngest sister and easily the most energetic of the three sisters. Born in Mobile, Alabama, she has made 6 moves in her career as a Coast Guard brat. She is going into the 11th grade and would love to attend Texas A&M upon graduation. She has been involved in a number of sports during high school including volleyball, softball, and cheer team. She is also an extremely talented violinist. As young girls, Celeste loved to dress Annabelle up with various outfits or even give her the occasional haircut.
Sean Gilley
Best Man
Sean is Colin’s older brother and works as a police officer in Norfolk. It is a wonder he ever survived growing up in the same household as Colin. A short list of injuries ensued by his younger brother include burned toes, sprained ankles (from being pushed down the stairs), and many cuts and scrapes.
Gabrielle Thomson
Matron of Honor
Gabrielle is Celeste's favorite older sister and was recently married in December of 2018 to her Canadian sweetheart, Simon Thomson. In May of this year she graduated from Georgia Southwestern University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Some of these sister's best memories include tarring and feathering themselves in the hopes to waterproof their fort, exploring Buffalo Country (their front yard in Alaska), reading termite trails that they thought were ancient writing, and racing their Barbie jeeps around the backyard.
Hunter Heard
Groomsman
Hunter is one of Colin’s best friends and currently attends Liberty University where he both plays soccer and pursues a degree in Business and Project Management. The two played on school and club soccer teams together throughout high school. Their many hot tub sessions (coined with the term “tub time”) are likely the reason Colin and Celeste got together in the first place.
Kathryn Gilley
Bridesmaid
Kathryn is Colin’s sister and has been one of Celeste's dearest friends from the very beginning of her family’s tour in Virginia. Kathryn will be a Senior in High School this fall and looks forward to graduation. She is a former gymnast and currently plays competitive soccer, but the real talent is found in her ability to ski on her face down a black diamond. We still aren’t sure why she chose this method when she had perfectly good skis strapped to her feet.
Dustin Heard
Groomsman
Dustin also attends Liberty University in pursuit of a degree in Exercise Science. Although he passed the torch to his younger brother for this past academic year, he did enjoy playing 2 years of college soccer. Some of his hobbies include world travel and spending half his income on fuel for his Hummer. Colin and Dustin spent a majority of their high school years training together and leading their soccer team as co-captains.
Abigail Berrios
Bridesmaid
Abigail is one of Celeste's closest cousins and they are only a few weeks apart in age. They grew up together from brushing their teeth in the toilet to being in each other's weddings. Abigail married Onyx Berrios back in 2017, and they have the cutest son Malachi.
Thomas Quick
Groomsman
Thomas is currently preparing for graduation from the Chesapeake Fire Academy. He and Colin bonded over their time working at Burrito Perdido and lifting together. He enjoys traveling to exotic places like Costa Rica and Nicaragua in pursuit of epic surf. No one is really sure where Thomas lives. It really depends on where there is room to set up his rooftop tent.
Hannah Lillemo
Bridesmaid
Hannah and Celeste met back in early 2017 at Scholar's Weekend for Regent University. That summer they worked at summer camp together for a short period of time. They both attended Regent University and bond over late night food runs, macaron and tea dates, and some extremely unsuccessful study sessions.
Connor Quick
Groomsman
Thomas’s identical and better looking twin is preparing to travel cross country to San Diego, California for a new job post graduation from Virginia Tech. Colin and Connor have grown together mentally through Spanish classes, physically through their love for CrossFit, and emotionally through some memorable camping trips with Sean.
