Young love right? We met at the all knowing age of 18 on the pool deck (shocking, I know) and after months of denying the chemistry we made it official in 2010. We have grown up together, supported each other and also driven each other crazy throughout the years. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with our closest friends and family!
March 30, 2019 changed our lives forever! I woke up feeling TERRIBLE with a cough that would scare a coal miner. Little did I know as I slept away my entire day, Sean was anxiously waiting to get me out of the house for the biggest moment of our lives yet. He was so eager to get me medicine, water, whatever I needed, it was amazing! We went to Stone Steps beach in Encinitas, parking right outside Steph's Grandma's house. I saw her car, immediately I was feeling terrible because I told Steph I wasn't feeling well and couldn't hang out until later.. Fast forward, we're at the beach on the stairs watching the waves. All seemed pretty normal until I could feel this shaking, I thought either there is an earthquake happening right now (have you seen the movie San Andreas with the Rock? Yeah I thought that was about to happen!) OR Sean is about to propose to me. In my moments of processing our impending death by earthquake or tsunami, by the time I turned around there he was down on one knee! That's pretty much the last thing I remember, I totally blacked out and neither of us can remember what was said, I'm sure it was very romantic though. I then see Stephanie running down cheering, shaking, crying everything expected of a best friend witnessing this moment! **I feel it is also note worthy to add that Steph was able to recruit two random teenage girls to capture this moment, who better to work a camera right??** Fast forward again, Sean expected me to go eat dinner after all of this. On the drive to Cardiff all I kept saying was should we face time our parents, should we go over, should we call someone, I feel like I need to call my Mom!? He distracted me enough to get to the restaurant, deflected the fact that Kyle's car was in the parking lot.. When we walked in our families and friends were all there, margarita's in hand to celebrate!
