Missoula, MT is a wonderful place to be in the spring! For those coming from out of town, we recommend flying into the Missoula airport (MSO). Downtown Missoula is about four miles from the airport and accessible by uber, lyft, or the Mountain Line bus system. The 11 line is free and comes every 60 minutes. The welcome picnic venue and Free Cycles are both walking distance from downtown. If you are staying further out from downtown, or are planning any outdoor adventures, we suggest renting a car. The closest Amtrak station is in Whitefish, MT, approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes from Missoula. From whitefish you can rent a car (or hitchhike).
