Cocktail attire, meaning smart and semi-formal. For men, casual suits and dress shirts - no tuxedo etc. For women, a summer cocktail dress, light pant suit, or cocktail skort -- we dare you to find one! It will be hot during the day and warm into the evening. But the entire wedding will be outdoors, so an extra layer is recommended.
HOT! The weather at this time of year in usually 77F (25C) to 86 (30C). It will cool off when the sun goes down. But the wedding will start while it's still quite warm. Bring an extra layer for later.
There is limited parking available. We highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the wedding. If you do plan on bringing a car, please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements.
This is a moving target that might change closer to the event, but for now, please plan on bringing a copy of your vaccination card / records with you to be checked at the door. If you are unvaccinated for medical reason, please provide a negative PCR test within 24 hours of the event as we have several immunocompromised guests in attendance. We will be asking our vendors to follow the same protocol. At the moment, we hope there will be no need for masks, but best to bring one just in case. We will continue revising this section as we get closer to the event. Regardless, if you're feeling sick, please stay home.
YES!
The wedding will end at 11:00PM.
Due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate everyone's children at our wedding. If you are traveling from overseas or out of state, we will be making exceptions. There will also be a private area set aside for baby changing.
Please email us as soon as possible, so we can let our vendors know. On the menu: THE FIX FOOD TRUCK: burgers and fries (for the vegetarians and gluten-intolerant, they have a vegan meat option and gluten-free buns -- please let us know if you'll be partaking in those alternatives) tomlaurenwedding2022@gmail.com
Uber and Lyft have made it much easier and cheaper to get around town. So unless you are planning a road trip, we don't think it's necessary. However, something to keep in mind if you're traveling with kids, proper safety seats are required for any child under 6 years old or weighing less than 60 pounds.
LAX is a notorious sh*t show - sorry in advance! Be aware, there are no cabs when you first get out of the terminal. You have to jump on a shuttle bus and take it to the cab/Uber/Lyft pick-up lot called 'LAX-IT.' Once you make it to the taxi/uber pick-up lot, you can order a car to swoop you up and take you to your hotel/airbnb.
Check out the 'Things to Do' page.
Yes, check the schedule page.
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
There will be a wedding photographer there during the whole evening. We ask for no photos during the ceremony to save from accidental flashes etc . But during the rest of the evening is fine. You can post to social using the hashtag #coleterowedding
