We're Getting Married!

I met Zach through Instagram back in March of 2017. Zach and I talked for a couple months before we finally went on our first date. I'll always remember that first date on June, 9th 2017 because we decided to meet up at Olive Tree in Aberdeen for dinner. We sat for hours just talking and getting to know each other. We were both nervous at first but within a few hours we really felt like we had a connection. Jump to exactly 6 months later on December 9th, 2017 we were unpacking a moving truck to begin a life together in our first home. We didn't know where this was going to take us but I was so happy I finally gave Zach a chance. Here we are over 3 years later and we're engaged and so happy. I can't wait to become this mans wife & spend the rest of my life with him growing and learning.

When Zach heard I was going to North Carolina for a quick one night trip (Sat into Sun) to celebrate my oldest niece's birthday he immediately texted one of our friends Tess to let her know he was going to propose when I got back. I had no clue this was about to happen. I got back to our house Sunday around 12:30pm and was putting down my bags and saying hello to our puppy Bailey when I turned around to embrace Zach to see that he was down on one knee with a ring in between his fingers. He excitedly said "Will you marry me?", I was so in shock that I immediately started to cry, and then what felt like minutes later said yes. Zach stood up and slid the beautiful engagement ring on my left ring finger. We hugged and kissed for a few minutes while we were both very emotional. We started calling and Face timing as many friends and family that we could to share the happy news. We are beyond happy to go through this journey and one day to be Husband & Wife!
