After high-insistence on one end and much reluctance on another, we took a long weekend trip to the Florida Keys. That first full day we planned to drive down to Bahia Honda State Park and make pit stops along the way to snack on tasty treats. We ended up stuck in a downpour and pulled into Long Key State Park on a whim. There, on a pedestrian trail with the sound of iguanas jumping into the water from the mangroves, and in front of an audience of birds, Andrew proposed.
