Me and my lovely best friend met in 2012 during our sophomore year in high school (Proviso West). She was a transfer student who always had on her cute hollister outfits and we had geography and english class together. One day we randomly started talking to one another in class and the rest has been history. I’ve been there for her through thick and thin. We had our ups and downs but who doesn’t? Whenever she needed me i was always there. ♥️

Me and Yazz met back in 2020 when I first started at Ingalls. We were both freshly postpartum with baby girls and quickly learned of more parallels — young, black nurses who are mothers and also long time partners to our guys whom we’d both been with since high school. I’m so excited for us to gain yet another parallel together — married life and wife hood. I cannot wait to share this special time with you and to watch you enter this new chapter in your life!
