Bonnie and Katy met during their freshmen year of high school at Carmel High. Since then, they have shared so much together--first loves, first breakups, and the highs and lows of navigating their awkward high school years and the even more awkward years of early adulthood. Katy has always been a consistent, loyal, and steadfast friend. Bonnie was thrilled when Katy decided to move back to Monterey to complete her teaching credential and settle down in the local area. Katy currently teaches 5th grade in the Monterey School district and always has the best stories about her kiddos. Bonnie and Katy get together at least once a week to watch The Bachelor and keep each other updated about their week. One simply could not ask for a better maid of honor and go-to girl.
Chris Choate
Best Man
Chris and Alex have known one another almost their entire lives. The two met as soon as they were old enough to start venturing out into the world, so long as they were within eyesight of their homes and were back once the streetlights came on. Throughout their adolescence and into adulthood, they have both been through many phases in their lives, some they are proud of and others not so much. One constant has been their commitment to their friendship, no matter how much their world has grown. Chris lives in Colorado with his wife, Rachael and children, Aria and Charles.

Michelle is Alex's older sister and Bonnie's new sister-in-law! When it comes to sisters, Michelle is a dream come true. Michelle is a loyal and doting family member and a humorous and down-to-earth friend. She has loved Alex through all of his life stages, even as a an energetic and often-times mischievous todler! Bonnie couldn't say enough how grateful she is to gain a relative like Michelle and her willingness to reveal family stories about Alex's childhood is a plus too! Michelle is mom to Hayden, Bonnie and Alex's wonderful nephew and ring bearer.
Sam Given
Groomsman/Brother of the Bride
Sam is Bonnie's older brother and Alex's new brother-in-law! Anyone who knows Bonnie also knows Sam as the two are thick as thieves. Sam is well-known for his extraordinary talent in the theater world but he also excels as an older brother. He's the kind of brother who would fly home from New York in an instant and the kind of human that will make you laugh until you cry. Let's be real--everyone loves Sam. Despite being an over-protective brother bear, he cannot wait to have a new brother and gave the vote of approval years ago. He currently lives in New York with his dear husband, Nick.
Jerene Dorsey
Bridesmaid
Jerene and Bonnie also met in sixth grade and became friends instantaneously. As a timid and highly anxious teenager, Bonnie relied heavily on Jerene for emotional support and consistent guidance. Jerene has always served as a source of wisdom and strength. She once spent hours on the phone trying to patiently explain the process of condensation to Bonnie, whom had significant difficulty absorbing this information. Bonnie and Jerene have experienced so much together from middle school dances (the horror), to teenage sleepovers and, more recently, engagements and weddings. Jerene is a Nurse Practitioner and lives Washington state with her husband, Brendan, and sweet baby boy, Roderic. She is both impressive and wonderful.
Jarred Gauthier
Groomsman
Jarred and Alex have known one another since they were roommates in Boulder, Colorado. It is a credit to Jarred that he is still able to be good friends with Alex, especially after spending a year living in such close proximity to him and being forced to deal with his many quirks on a day-to-day basis. Alex will forever remember the shock of living with a brash New Englander who would never shy away from telling him in frank terms exactly how he felt. By the end of that year Alex had a friend for life, learned what a huge heart Jarred possessed and never grew tired of his boisterous laugh. Jarred loves all things outdoors and currently lives in the mountains of Colorado, where he can best enjoy the abundance of winter snow and the unlimited summer recreations that they have to offer.
Shannon Pinder

Oh, Shannon. Bonnie and Shannon met in the college dorms at Santa Clara University. They spent many fun and carefree college nights together and were best known for their interpretive dances in the library while studying for finals. Shannon has been a faithful friend from the beginning and is as kindhearted as they come. She is always on board to join Bonnie for weekend get-togethers. What else can a person say? Shannon is absolutely precious.
Gordon Winn
Groomsman
Gordon and Alex are great friends. One of the few groomsman who are local to the area, Gordon spends a considerable amount of time with Alex. They both enjoy volunteering together, driving to the Sierras in the winter and wasting their time and money at the links in the summer. Gordon is an excellent listener and his willingness and enthusiasm to try new hobbies has been a godsend for Alex. Gordon and Alex’s favorite pastime probably the constant ribbing they give each other, a true sign of friendship.
Rudi Price

Bonnie and Rudi became instant friends on the first day of sixth grade. Rudi has always been an incredibly patient and compassionate friend and is the best at giving good advice and providing a listening ear. Bonnie and Rudi have remained close through many important life events including first loves, break ups (this is becoming a common theme), and personal challenges and triumphs. Rudi lives in Aptos, CA with her incredible husband, Shane, and their bouncy and bright two-year-old daughter, Sage.
Nick Castro

We are incredibly happy to have Nick be a part of our wedding. We appreciate so many things about Nick, most of all the levity he brings to our lives. Nick has an infectious laugh that can brighten any mood! In fact, the majority of our time together is spent trying to our best to make him laugh. Nick is charitable and kind and kept Alex from looking haggard during quarantine by coming over and trimming his hair in our backyard. An avid golfer, Nick has been the driving force to our countless weekends spent playing rather poorly at our home course.
Katrina Randazzo

Bonnie and Katrina grew up in the same area and knowing many mutual people, but did not officially meet until 2016. From the moment they met, Katrina and Bonnie hit it off and felt as if they had known each other forever. Katrina is Bonnie's go-to for weekend breakfast dates and for knowledge and advice on all things doggy-related. In fact, Katrina volunteers at the local SPCA and devotes much of her time helping animals to find their forever homes. She is one of the sweetest humans you will ever meet.
Patrick Bryan

When Alex firstmet Patrick he was honestly a bit intimidated. By outward appearances they could not be more unalike. Patrick has long flowing hair, a bevy of tattoos and is known to wear a heavy metal band t-shirt or two. However, once they got to know one another they soon realized how much they actually had in common. Their conversations always seem to delve much deeper than any trivial sort, as they are both undercover nerds. Patrick has a strong curiosity and is a truly genuine, selfless and thoughtful man. He is also an awesome father to his beautiful two-year-old daughter, Dahlia.

When it came to the decision to pick an officiant, Bonnie and Alex immediately thought of Stan. Stan is an incredibly kind and inspiring human who always puts others before himself. It is an absolute honor to have the privilege to say one's wedding vows with Stan's guidance and support. He is one-of-a kind.
