Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

***If you are staying downtown or are a local, please feel free to ride the shuttle and Uber home from West Ashley as Uber can be difficult to call at Middleton Place*** There will be a shuttle from the Home2 Suites West Ashley Hotel to/from Middleton Place. Pick up is in the loop out front of the hotel lobby. Shuttle 1 leaves The Home2 Suites at 3:05pm Shuttle 2 leaves The Inn at 3:10pm There is also a shuttle from The Inn to Middleton Place but feel free to walk if you'd prefer. Pick up is in front of The Lodge. Shuttle 1 leaves The Inn at 3:15pm Shuttle 2 leaves The Inn at 3:30pm Shuttles back to Home2 Suites in West Ashley will be running from the end of our reception (10:30pm - leaving from The Pavilion) through 12:30am (leaving from The Lodge/after party) ***If you are staying downtown or are a local, please feel free to ride the shuttle and Uber home from West Ashley as Uber can be difficult to call at Middleton Place***

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are black-tie encouraged. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and formal dresses! *Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so please choose your shoes accordingly.* Also, March can still be a bit chilly, so please bring a sweater or layers. The reception will take place indoors. The welcome party is casual cocktail attire. Think long sleeve dresses, polos, and button downs.

What time should I arrive at for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before to be able to see Middleton during the day, grab a glass of champagne, and pick a seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be free parking, but we strongly encourage Uber/Lyft or parking at The Home2Suites West Ashley where the bus can take you to Middleton (and you can easily catch an Uber home from there).

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Madison's and Austin's Goddaughter/sons will be in our wedding party. All other children will be with the babysitters next door at The Inn for a night of fun at kids camp! Featuring movies, games, dinner, and new friends (Austin is bummed that he has to miss it!)

Absolutely! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!
