Our Happily Ever After!

A compatibility test. Two dogs. And a proposal. To some, those are just random words, but to Justin and Taylor, that's just the beginning of their beautiful story together. Some nearly-eight years ago, amongst the bustling halls of Almont High School, Justin and Taylor didn't even brush shoulders. But thanks to a Valentine's Day fundraiser and a few questions to find their most compatible partner, the two became acquainted. Because he was her top pick, and she was his. Although it took time to finally build the courage to meet, they did so on a warm June night at the place in town where everyone spent their summer evenings — the old ball diamonds. There, the two talked for hours. Surely, compatible. And from that day forth, not a day has gone by where they've stopped since. The two have grown together, got an apartment, brought two small shih-tzu friends into their lives, and celebrated countless graduations and memories together. They've built their relationship on being there for one another, growing older, accomplishing new things. And finally, after many magical mornings at Magic Kingdom, afternoons on the water, and nights spent walking downtown Detroit, Justin decided to get down on one knee — making his one wish a reality. A proposal was fulfilling his wish to make Taylor his partner, and park-hopper, for life. In front of the Belle Isle fountain, and in secret viewing with family, the two were engaged. Which leads us here — reading this story because the two are fit to be married! Their love for one another will be shared on this day with everyone who is near and dear to their heart. And even though this is their third wedding plan (thanks, pandemic) they say third time's the charm. And for these two high school sweethearts, they can't wait to share this day with you.
