The reception will be outdoors. In the chance of light rain, we will have a small tent. In the chance of a lot of rain, our vendor will graciously assist us in moving from our "courtyard" area to an area that is under an overhang.
Costumes only. At least one person needs to come dressed as Jack Sparrow. Just kidding. Unless you regularly dress up as Jack Sparrow, then by all means. Casual, please come as you are OR feel free to use this as an excuse to dress up.
You sure will! We will be incorporating as many aspects from our wedding into the reception and that includes the wedding dress and tux.
Yes - we will provide a variety of snacks and appetizers. We also will have a private bar in our reception area. The Farmhouse will also have a food truck on scene for additional food purchases.
Yes! It will actually be Valet parking. But don't let that fool you into thinking this is a fancy place. Because...it ain't.
Mother nature herself can't even predict Virginia weather. However, it's TYPICALLY fairly clear with temperatures ranging around 50 - 60 degrees. But I'm not a weather wizard, so may the odds forever be in our favor.
Unfortunately, we ask that you leave the little ones at home as our area will be 21+.
If it's not listed under your reservation, then sadly no. We have specific guidelines with how many people can be in our area, and we will be hitting the max number. UNLESS you decide to bring a celebrity, then we might make an exception. But run the celebrity by us first, it needs to be someone cool. Example: Adam Sandler, Jack Black, Post Malone. Annoying celebrities (such as, but not limited to:) Kayne West, Kristen Stewart, Jake Paul, James Cordon, etc. will be happily denied.
Short answer - no. Any gifts given will sadly have to be left in Virginia due to travel restrictions. We also do not feel the need / want for a registry. If you INSIST on giving a gift, we ask that it is small. Something that makes us smile, laugh or even a neat little knickknack from somewhere you've traveled. We're very simple. We will also have a honeymoon fund box / card box at the reception.
Sadly no. They will be holding down the fort back in Colorado for us. But we will have all the wedding photos to share with you all from our elopement day.
