Dressy casual or cocktail attire would be best!
It is best to arrive 25-30 minutes before the ceremony start time. This gives you ample time to get parked and seated.
They will most likely have someone directing you where to go on the day of the wedding. But if you're like me, I also like to know before I go. If you enter from the front of the property, there is a field off to the left that will be open for parking. If you enter from the back of the property, you will drive around the back and side of the venue towards the front. The field to park in will then be on your right side.
The weather here in South Carolina is sometimes unpredictable. However, the average temperature for December 3rd in Greenville has been about 50 degrees Fahrenheit for the last 5 years.
The ceremony will be outdoors on the front porch/lawn of the beautiful mansion. Wearing a light jacket or a sweater might be best! If weather is not permitting for the use of the front porch, the ceremony will then be in a covered tent outside. Cocktail hour will occur inside of the mansion. The reception will be in a covered tent outside. It is heated in the event of colder weather.
Other than the reserved seats for parents and immediate family of the bride/groom, you may pick any seat you like!
We have come up with a very fun way to assign you a table. Be on the lookout for a seating chart upon arrival to the reception tent at the back of the property.
This, of course, is subject to change. However, we are hoping for the wedding ceremony to start at 5pm. It should last for around 30 minutes. We will be having a cocktail hour, and then dinner (to also include toasts and cake cutting). This will last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. And then we will dance the night away for about 2 hours! We do have to depart from the venue at 9pm.
