We recommend flying into Denver Airport and either renting a car or taking an uber into town. If you're up for it, you can try and catch a layover from Denver Airport into the Colorado Springs airport instead, and uber from there. A note on the return home - if flying back out of Denver then please keep in mind while booking your flight that you will need time to travel to Denver, get through TSA, and take a tram to your terminal. Since this will be a small wedding, we don’t plan to block off hotel rooms. She looking for rentals, Manitou Springs would be ideal but will be pricier with fewer availabilities. Don't hesitate to look for places in Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, or anywhere on the west side of Colorado Springs. Everything will likely be within a 15 minute drive, or 30 minutes at most from the Springs.
It is with a weary heart we must decline dogs, cats, or pets of any kind. We are currently living in a rental house that restricts any kind of pet. However, Sarah will accept any impromptu photos of your furry children at any time. Please check back with the couple in 2026 on pet ownership.
Yeah so this is impossible to provide advice other than to bring options for both summer and fall weather. The days will likely be very hot and the nights are starting to cool off. If it rains during the day for a couple hours that can drop the temp by a solid 10 degrees at least when the sun returns. Bring shorts and sweatshirts.
