We met in a college dorm room since our separate friend groups started hanging out together. Cole never came around to hang out when his guy friends did, until we met that one night in the dorm room.. Then he was always coming around! It wasn't long at all until we exchanged numbers and became best friends. Word on the block is that he told my friend, Keighley right away that I was "the one" and he wanted to date me. Once I heard the word, I made it clear with him that we were "just friends" this same conversation replayed about 8 times when he kept telling me he wanted to date me, but the timing was off and we were just best friends. Cole didn't give up, he knew what he wanted. We hung out every day since we met and were the best of friends until we weren't. How could you not start to just adore this guy? He was so sweet and basically the guy version of me. He was perfect for me, the timing was never ideal for us as we both were in relationships, but we knew they weren't it. We both ended our relationships to be together and then the rest was history! Yes Cole won.. Moral of the story, don't give up hahah

Taylor had no clue anything was happening. Her best friend, Kayla, was flying up from Florida to visit her family for Christmas. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to propose to her. Kayla and I planned everything out. Kayla wanted to take Taylor out to dinner that night because they haven't seen each other for a long time and she was finally going to be in town. Taylor was so excited to see Kayla that night and kept talking about it to me. The proposal happened at The Star Barn, they have a light show every year around Christmas time. Kayla suggested to Taylor that they should go see the lights before they go eat. Little did she know, that I would be standing in the star barn waiting for her. They get to The Star Barn and as soon as Taylor opens the door, my friends started playing our song "Speechless" by Dan + Shay in the background and I was standing in a candle lit path full of rose pedals and pictures of her and I. She cried, asked "Does my dad know, what did he say"? and then screamed "YES"! I can honestly say that it was the best feeling I have ever felt, hands down. Now we are getting married 2 years post engagement at the Star Barn, where I proposed!
