Wear what makes you most comfortable and confident! Here are some guidelines to help: Suggested Attire: "Alpine Semiformal" Our celebration will take place outdoors in the mountains — elegant but relaxed! We suggest semi-formal attire inspired by the setting: flowy dresses or jumpsuits, suits or sport coats, and shoes suitable for grass or stone paths. Indian dressy attire is warmly welcomed — colorful saris, lehengas, or kurtas will fit beautifully with the mountain backdrop and celebration vibe. August in Alta is usually warm during the day (70s–80s °F) and cool at night (50s °F). The ceremony will be outdoors, so pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and a layer for after sunset. Dinner and dancing will be indoors.
Please visit the "RSVP" tab of our website and search for your name.
You have several options! You can stay in Salt Lake City (about 35 minutes away from the venue) or up in Little Cottonwood Canyon near the venue. We have a hotel room block at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center. Snowbird Resort is another great option if you'd like to stay in the mountains, though we don't have a room block there. We’ll have a shuttle picking up from the Hilton and Snowbird to make getting to and from the wedding easy. If you’d prefer something more private, Airbnbs or vacation rentals in the area are also a great choice.
Your presence is the best gift of all! If you’d like to give something, you check out the "registry" tab of our website.
So glad you asked! Check out our “Things to Do” section for hikes, scenic drives, and adventures in Park City, Salt Lake City, and national parks like Zion, Bryce, and Arches.
You have a few options! Drive: There is parking available at Alta Peruvian Lodge. Shuttle: We’ll have a shuttle running between the main hotel area and the lodge before and after the event. You can find more info on the "Accommodations & Transportation" tab, and RSVP for the shuttle when you submit your RSVP. [Not recommended] Rideshare: While Uber/Lyft may work in Salt Lake City, service / pickup reliability in Alta can be unreliable, especially late at night — we recommend using the shuttle or carpooling.
Ceremony & Reception: Alta Peruvian Lodge has a large parking lot, so feel free to drive up the beautiful Little Cottonwood Canyon to get to the venue. We will also provide a shuttle from the hotel to the venue; please don't drink & drive! Welcome Drinks: Fisher Brewing is in the middle of Salt Lake City; there is ample street parking in the blocks surrounding the brewery. Brunch: There is a large parking lot near the pavilion at Sugarhouse Park.
If your children are included in your RSVP party on the invitation, they are welcome to join us at the wedding! Please note: the Friday brewery event is 21+ only, so children will not be able to attend that portion of the weekend.
