FAQs

Question

When should I rsvp by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP no later than January 14, 2026.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are strictly black tie attire. For gentlemen, this means tuxedo or black suit. For ladies, this means ankle or floor length dresses. No white or cream please. Don’t forget this will be winter in Pittsburgh, so pack to stay warm!

Question

Are kids and plus ones allowed?

Answer

As much as we love your kiddos, we politely request this be an adults-only ceremony and reception. We will only be able to accommodate guests named on the invitation.

Question

How formal is the Meet & Greet?

Answer

We will be dressed for the wedding rehearsal but guests should feel comfortable wearing anything (even if you’re right from the airport!). This will be a casual opportunity for us to spend some extra time with our guests!

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be a motor coach to take guests to the wedding ceremony. The motor coach will arrive to pick up guests from Hotel Monaco at 3:45 pm and depart for Heinz Chapel at 4:00 pm. If you are not staying at Hotel Monaco you are still welcome to use the motor coach, however you are responsible for getting yourself from your hotel to Hotel Monaco. At the end of the night the motor coach will be available at the museum to take guests back to Hotel Monaco.

Question

How do we get from Heinz Chapel to Carnegie Museum?

Answer

Heinz Chapel and Carnegie Museum are a 4 minute walk (less than 1 block) from each other. If you are unable to make the walk or the weather is not permitting the motor coach will be available to take guests to the museum. Please note, the street between Carnegie Museum and Heinz Chapel is one way so the motor coach will have to loop the block to go back and forth.

Question

Will there be parking at Heinz Chapel and Carnegie Museum?

Answer

Heinz Chapel is street parking only. If you’re driving we recommend parking at Carnegie Museum parking garage and walking to Heinz Chapel. Our guests will not be charged for parking at the museum.
