We weren’t high school sweethearts, but we were two stories quietly running side-by-side. We went to the same high school but barely knew each other--just two familiar faces in the same desert town. Years later, life pulled us in different directions. Rayna moved to Florida for work, while Cole stayed in Arizona for college. Then in 2020 came Covid--a strange time when everything paused and somehow so many unexpected things began. We reconnected through social media, and before we knew it, Cole was flying across the country. Together, we drove 2000 miles in a beat-up car that somehow brought us both home in one piece. That was the beginning of everything. From then on, while Rayna stayed in Yuma teaching dance, Cole was finishing his degree in Phoenix. This long-distance relationship went on for quite some time before they made the decision to settle into their first apartment together. In August of 2022, Rayna moved to Tempe. For most couples, living together is a huge test, but for us, it felt easy and seemed like the perfect piece to our puzzle.  We then started to build our adult lives, started careers, bought a home, and adopted our firstborn child, “Wren,” our puppy. On May 23, 2025, Cole proposed to Rayna in Central Park in New York City & on July 11, 2026, we will both take vows to spend the rest of our lives together & continue to make everlasting memories full of love.
