We’re asking guests to dress in semi formal attire, but if you’d like to get a little more dressed up, go for it! Color is always welcome. Our bridesmaids will be wearing sage green, for anyone who may want to keep that in mind when choosing an outfit. We only ask that you please avoid white. Most importantly, wear something you feel great in and come ready to celebrate with us!
Yes! The venue has parking for up to 68 cars. To help make the most of the available spaces, we'd really appreciate it if you could carpool with friends or family whenever possible. If you're planning to enjoy the bar, we encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle or have a designated driver. We want everyone to have a fun and safe evening!
Absolutely! We’ll have a shuttle service to and from the venue, with pickup and drop-off at the Best Western Plus Hood River. You do not need to be staying at the hotel to use the shuttle. Seating will be limited, so we encourage guests to plan ahead. Pickup times and additional shuttle details will be shared as we get closer to the wedding.
We recommend staying in downtown Hood River, less than 10 minutes from the venue. You'll find a variety of hotels, restaurants, shops, and plenty of Airbnb and Vrbo options nearby. August is one of the busiest months in Hood River, so we recommend booking accommodations as early as possible.
As much as we love your tiny humans, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults only celebration, with the exception of children in our bridal party. We hope you’ll enjoy a well deserved night off and come celebrate with us!
To keep our celebration intimate, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they'll be listed by name or included on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We'd love for you to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please keep phones and cameras tucked away until cocktail hour so our photographer can capture the moment.
We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes before the ceremony. This will give you plenty of time to park (or hop on the shuttle), find your seat, grab a drink or some water, and soak in the beautiful views before we say "I do."
Late August in Hood River is typically warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures in the 80s and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket for when the sun goes down.
