Spirit Lake
A lovely lake in the mountains, with lots of great views! It's not uncommon to see Moose up here. You can hike to Tamarack lake from here, and both are good for a cold plunge if you're up for it! You can also rent some paddle boards or kayaks here, or bring your own! There can be quite a few mosquitoes up here, so be prepared with bug spray if you come visit
Red Canyon Overlook
A great overlook of the Flaming Gorge! This site is usually rather quiet, and has a little nature walk with wonderful views of the area. We stop here at least once every time we're up here!
Flaming Gorge Reservoir
Some of the best fishing in the country can be had here! We personally don't have much experience fishing it, but if you like fishing, you won't want to miss out on it!
Dutch John Resort At Flaming Gorge
Only put this on the list because they offer white water rafting on the green river!
