Our story is what we like to think happened by fate. We met through mutual friends by chance one unforgettable Thursday Halloween night. Neither of us had any intentions or hopes of meeting anyone that night, let alone our future Husband/Wife. The moment we met we had an instant connection. We spent all weekend hanging out with our friends enjoying each others company and getting to know one another. Little did we know that going into that night of seeing old friends would lead us to where we are today but we are SO glad fate was on our side and brought us to our forever love.

Cole and Molly were getting ready for their annual anniversary trip down to Fredericksburg. Molly was packing, trying to predict the December Texas weather and bring the appropriate clothing. At the same time, Cole was sneaking the engagement ring into his work briefcase and coordinating the arrival of his and her parents to partake in the surprise. Once they arrived in Fredericksburg, they decided to unpack and then wander into town for a late lunch. Little did Molly know that Cole had arranged for his and her parents to get the ring out of his bag and place it into Zoey’s dog harness. After a light lunch and delicious drinks from the Elk Lodge in downtown Fredericksburg, Cole made an excuse about having to complete a few things for work that afternoon to get Molly to go back to the hotel with him. With an irritating roll of the eyes and a few comments about why couldn't he have completed this earlier, they made their walk back to the hotel, hand in hand, discussing what plans they had that evening for their anniversary dinner. Approaching the hotel, they entered the courtyard and Cole grabbed Molly’s hand and told her he had a question he needed to ask her. With a puzzled look on her face Cole took a knee and asked her to marry him. Molly didn't fully believe that he was proposing until she looked over and saw Zoey trotting towards them. With tears in her eyes, she said YES!!!!! Cole fished the ring out of Zoey's harness and onto her finger and the rest is history.
