FAQs

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/semi-formal; suit (with or without tie!), nice pants with a sport coat, dresses or your favorite power pantsuit! - you have our full permission to wear your fanciest dress if you never have enough excuses to wear it though. The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors, so keep in mind spiked stilettos may sink in the earth and ruin your vibes. Don’t dress so stuffy you aren’t prepared to dance!

Question

What’s the weather?

Answer

The usual high for September 5th is in the 70-80 degree area, with slightly chilly nights, and a chance for light rain.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all of your kids, we have elected to have an adult only celebration- get a sitter, and take some real advantage of the open bar.(Nursing infants exempt.)

Question

What’s the food situation?

Answer

Snacks, tastes, dinner and dessert will be served- anticipate a fully vegetarian experience, with an emphasis on vegan fare, and let us know if you have any additional dietary restrictions. Dessert will be an assortment of vegan cupcakes.

Question

How long do I have to be at this thing?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30p- be sure to head out early to account for finding the Arboretum, and your seats! Farewell to the couple will be at 11:00pm.

Question

What’s the wedding #hashtag?

Answer

We aren’t cool enough to have a wedding hashtag, so just tag us in your pictures! We have elected to have an unplugged ceremony- which means we want you to keep the phones and cameras put away while we say our vows, and you can take them back out as soon as the couple is done down the aisle! Seriously, Mickey isn’t afraid to stop saying her vows in order to throw your phone through the picturesque pine forest.

Question

Will there be adult beverages?

Answer

In short- absolutely. You can anticipate an open bar of wine and Arizona brewed beer, in addition to non-alcoholic beverages. The bar is open, but don’t be “that guy”, and be sure to bring some $1s to tip your busy bartenders.
