Lexi has been the bride’s best friend since 2016. In 2018 both Mel and Lexi moved away from their home town in CO, putting them even further away from each other. That never kept them from making trips to see each other. Mel personally feels as though they have connected not only on a level of friendship, but sisterhood. It has been long awaited and no hard decision for Mel to ask Lexi to be her maid of honor.
Fatima Gomez
Bridesmaid
Fatima is one of the brides childhood best friends. Attending Middle School together Mel always thought of having her best friends as her bridesmaids, fatima being one of them of course. Bonding over sports or even just the passion of hard work brought them closer in friendship. Through the years, though living in completely different states they have stayed close friends and so will be joining the bridal party.
Jackie Salgado
Bridesmaid
Jackie has been one of the bride’s best friends since middle school along with Lexi and Fatima. Growing up in a small town just down the street from each other made boring summers and early school morning walks that much better. After moving away it wasn’t hard to stay connected through social media or spontaneous visits, and that is why it’s an honor for Mel to have Jackie apart of the bridal party.
Gabby Brown
Bridesmaid
Gabby and the bride were good friends in High School. They were always there in each other’s corner and even after graduation, getting parter’s, and having babies only 1 week apart, Gabby has stayed that friend for Mel that she’s needed at just the right time. She couldn’t be happier than to have gabby joining the bridal party for the big day and will be accompanied by her partner Cordell.
Tj Hallock
Best Man
Tj has been Cole’s best friend since before they can remember. Experiencing childhood, high school and the beginnings of adulthood together brought them closer becoming more like brothers to one another. Through thick and thin they have been there for each other even if what they need in that moment is small. It’s no questions asked that Tj accompany Cole for one of the biggest of moments.
Kristopher & Stetson
Groomsmen
Growing up, the groom’s older brother brought Kristopher around often as they were friends in High School. Growing up, Kristopher and Cole sprouted a bond that wasn’t only friendship, but also brotherhood. Alongside Kristopher is his son Stetson who Cole has grown a special bond, beginning an uncle to nephew connection. It’s an honor to have them join the groom’s party as groomsmen.
Taiden Kaminga
Groomsman
Taiden is a childhood friend of the groom. Both Cole and Mel have had great times with him growing up. Figuring out the struggles of becoming young adults is always that much easier with a friend who’s figuring it out too. It is Cole’s pleasure to have him standing apart of the groom’s party.
Cordell Grover
Groomsman
While being previous friends in High School, having baby’s the same age and partners who are best friends, it hasn’t been hard for Cordell and Cole to stay close to one another. Bonding over becoming dad’s has made it clear that Cordell belongs apart of the groom’s party for Cole and Mel’s big day and will be accompanied by his partner Gabby.
Hylee & Ava
Flower Girl’s
These two little sweethearts are the brides nieces. Watching them grow up has been one of the most joyful experiences of her life and has prepared her for raising a baby of her own. Mel was her sister’s ( Hylee and Ava’s mom) flower girl back in 2013. Now that it’s her turn, it’s her biggest pleasure to have them pave the way down the aisle.

Tara was the bride and groom’s math teacher in High School and one of Mel’s gymnastics coaches. They have grown to become good friends outside the education and sports world. She captured the excitement of anticipation with engagement photos and now she joins us on THE day to capture the moment. This charming secluded ranch is perfect setting for the small rustic wedding the bride and groom have dreamed of. The staff will be helping with set up and clean up and will also be catering for the reception.
