Therese Douglass
Maid of Honor
Therese Douglass is a Stillwater, Minnesota native who has known Lucy since junior year of high school. Their friendship was solidified through many musical rehearsals, Caribou coffee dates, and very long face time calls. Over the years the Therese and Lucy's friendship has enjoyed many good and memorable times such as when Lucy borrowed all of Therese’s grad party money to buy an iPhone or when Lucy, long before getting engaged, suggested that Therese plan on moving to Milwaukee so that they could be life time neighbors. A few years have passed and while they may no longer be driving together to grad parties every day, their love to chat and drink coffee has not faded and neither will their friendship.
Marcin Wludecki
Best Man
Marcin has been a close friend of Cole's since Sophomore year of high school. When they first got to know each other they were inseparable: working out, playing video games/board games, attending family events, goofing off at group friend events, etc. Over the years Marcin and Cole stayed by each other's sides and had a lot of great memories as roommates in college. Marcin is finishing his Finance degree in Milwaukee where he currently lives. He is an avid rock climber and greatly enjoys the outdoors.
Sydny Kotecki
Bridesmaid
Sydny met Lucy when she started dating Cole. They quickly bonded over going on runs, singing Tswift in the car, their love of caffeine, Kotecki Crew ski trips and TJ Maxx shopping. Sydny is happy to welcome Lucy into the family as a sister and promises not to put Vaseline in her hair like she did to Cole when they were toddlers. As for the groom, Sydny has many fond memories of her brother including playing Pocahontas together in the back yard, building moats in the sandbox, and many camping trips, and running when Cole caught frogs or threw seaweed at her. After completing her Masters in Biomedical Science, Sydny moved down to Austin, TX last year where she has been working as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Diabetes research. She lives with her boyfriend Trevor and their cat Millie.
Caleb Hyatt
Groomsman
Caleb attended elementary school with Cole, where Cole offered to be his first friend. For the next 14 years Cole and Caleb have had countless memories: nerf gun fights at midnight, creating several hilarious videos on Vine, countless fishing trips, playing tennis as doubles partners, and even making a notebook filled with ideas for a potential videogame they could create. Caleb is getting married to Talia (who was in choir with Lucy in College) in July. Caleb has been working as a professional magician since the end of high school and is best known for his regular performances as the official magician of the Indy 500. When he doesn't have a deck of cards in his hands, Caleb also enjoys playing videogames, shooting his guns at the range, fishing, and working out.
Emma Holtan
Bridesmaid
Emma and Lucy met during their freshman year of college. They could usually be found sitting in the 4th floor Bridgman hallway decoding what Cole did or didn't say, staying up all night talking, or playing basketball at McPhee. Can we just say they were queens of the game lightning? Let's be real...they probably only won once or twice. Sophomore year they shared a wall of separate apartments, on which Emma would knock on to see if Lucy was home. Junior year they played on an intramural soccer team together, and it was all fun and games until Emma accidentally hit Lucy in the head with the ball (she still feels bad about it). In her spare time, Emma likes to go on walks, frequent Mass, play sports, and hang out with friends.
Zac Kaiser
Groomsman
Zac is a software developer and has been a friend of Cole’s since freshman year of college. Cole and Zac were roommates for 3 years at UWEC, and spent countless nights convincing the rest of the floor to play board games, fighting it out in Super Smash Bros, making late night trips to the “caf”, and inexplicably finding jellybeans in their socks. Zac has been a long-time fan and friend of both Cole and Lucy and is thrilled to support them as they pledge themselves to each other. Zac is a software developer currently developing his first game and working part-time as a substitute teacher. When he’s not designing art or music, Zac can be found playing games with friends, plotting D&D adventures, or listening to Spotify.
Eleanor Sladek
Bridesmaid
Eleanor and Lucy met their freshman year UW-Eau Claire during a Pro-Life walk, where they discovered they were both pre-nursing and Spanish students. Throughout the year, they hung out, studied, and kept each other on track for the nursing program. They were roommates their sophomore year, and have many memories of late-night studying, laughing, talking, and throwing chocolate at each other in their massive pantry. Throughout their friendship they have supported each other in faith, clinicals, running, relationships, and career planning. Both have been admitted into the UW-Health Nurse Residency Program, where they will tackle their first nursing jobs together, and are looking forward to continuing to live, work, and hang out in the same city as they tackle life after graduation.
Elliot Campbell

Elliot has been friends with Cole since their freshmen year of college. The two lived 3 doors down from each other and their shared love of anime, video games, and playing sports meant they were fast friends. Some of Elliot's fondest memories of his time with Cole include playing on intramural sports teams, weekly basketball games, their annual Valentine's Day double dates, and completing Batman: Arkham Origins with one of them controlling the mouse and the other controlling the keyboard. Elliot graduated from UWEC in the spring of 2020 and is now a Software Developer. He is an avid runner and is excited to be participating with Cole on a team in a relay race from Minneapolis to Duluth this summer called Ragnar. He is also engaged and getting married this summer to his fiancé Amelia.
