We met online while swiping through OkCupid. We matched and started talking for a bit until Cole decided it was time for us meet. We arranged to go to Vida Mexicana in Wallingford CT for a lunch date. Of course in normal Karena fashion she was 30 minutes late (lets blame Gizmo lol) and she was very surprised that he was sitting there waiting for her. They had a good time and decided they didn't want it to end so they went to the movies after. They went on few dates and Cole decided he wasn't really feeling it...hahaha jokes on him lol (Karena thinks he was scared of her awesomeness). They lived their lives separately talking to other people and even went on a few other dates until one day something told Karena to text him (it was a miracle she still had his number since she deletes number constantly). She said "Hey hope you are doing okay I was thinking about you and just wanted to say hi" he didn't reply until the next morning but to her surprise when he responded he was thinking abut her too. He asked if they can get together and went to Moonrise Cafe in North Haven before he had DnD. They went back to his house to talk and right in the game room while watching Lord of the Rings Cole asked Karena to be his girlfriend...that was also the day she met Tracy. They dated for about a month and decided to move in together and created their little family of Cole, Karena, and Gizmo. While dating for 2 years they became each others rocks and supported each other through some very tough times. They got engaged 2 years later after Karena over heard Cole tell his brother Steven that he will be proposing on Christmas ( didn't happen on Christmas since Karena told Cole she heard his whole conversation in our 1200ft condo that is only one floor). Now here we are planning a wedding and very excited to spend the day with the people we care about.
