The story of how we met is an interesting one. We met at an engineering camp in Platteville, WI in June 2015. Justin had attended the camp the year before, but it was cancelled when a tornado came through. He decided to give the camp another try the next year and landed in Cole's group assignment. Cole knew there was something special about Justin when he was forced to give each and every student a compliment because he managed to offend the instructor on the first day. After connecting at camp, we realized we lived only 15 minutes apart on the other side of the state. We became very close friends as we hung out more and made the most of Justin's last year in high school. We were both devastated when Justin had to leave for college and we realized there was a connection between us that was deeper than friendship. The rest is history <3
