Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

We will be arriving on the 1st, and we invite all our guests to come as early or stay as long as they wish. To make sure you don't miss any wedding activities, we recommend your flight lands no later than 10 AM on the 4th to allow plenty of time to check in and freshen up for the ceremony. If possible we suggest even arriving on the 3rd to settle in and enjoy all the resort has to offer. IF YOU ARE IN THE WEDDING PARTY, please arrive no later than 10 AM on the 3rd to enjoy the activities we have planned the day before such as the rehearsal dinner.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire will be (as Jurnee puts it) "beach cocktail". We are shooting for a mix between Beach Casual and Semi Formal. Opt for a simple sundress, high-quality romper. While dressy sandals are acceptable, avoid standard, beachwear flip flops. Nice, short-sleeved shirts (polos/collared linen shirts) are permitted as well as nice shorts (think Chinos) with a belt or slacks. Lighter colors recommended. Avoid denim, cargo, and swim shorts. Cotton t-shirts are NOT permitted. Think normal semi-formal attire but with summer suits, breathable fabric, and touches of tropical elements. This isn’t a family outing at the beach —it’s still a wedding. Leave the bathing suits and swim shorts at home and if opting for sandals, make sure they’re dressier than your normal beachy flip flops. Sun hats are permitted, but remove them during the ceremony so as to not block the view of other guests.
