Lake Geneva Shore Path
If you’re looking for things to do while you’re in town, Lake Geneva is one of our favorite places to visit. We highly recommend the Lake Geneva Shore Path if you enjoy walking, light hiking, and beautiful lake views. The downtown area also has a variety of great restaurants and boutique, some of our favorites to explore. It’s a perfect spot to relax, walk around and enjoy the scenery.
Ethereal
One of our favorite local stops when we go to Woodstock Square is Ethereal, a cozy café and chocolate shop right in the heart of town. It’s a perfect place to grab a coffee and chocolates before strolling around the square, exploring shops, and soaking in the atmosphere of downtown Woodstock.
Algonquin Commons
We also love spending time at Algonquin Commons, a outdoor shopping and dining destination with over 50 shops and restaurants to explore. It’s a great spot to explore the open-air center, pop into stores, and grab a meal. Some of our favorites around there for eating and relaxing include Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant for a delicious meal and wine flight and Bonefish Grill for fresh seafood and cocktails. There are plenty of other places to eat and browse nearby too, making it a perfect option for a casual afternoon or evening out together.
Oak Grove Golf Course
If you love golf, you might enjoy a round at Oak Grove Golf Course, one of Cole’s favorite courses in the area. It’s a beautiful 18-hole public course, perfect for a day out on the greens whether you’re a competitive player or just enjoying time with friends. And for those who aren’t golfing, riding around in the cart and taking in the views can be just as fun!
