Our absolute favorite restaurant. Amazing place if you are looking for delicious food and an eclectic vibe downtown before the Welcome Party. They do not take RSVPs, so you'll have to show up and order a drink and appetizers while you wait, but it is always worth it.
Standard Beer + Food
This is a frequent meet up spot for our friends. Great food, drinks, and outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny day. Wonderful spot for lunch on Saturday or a more casual dinner on Friday night.
Death and Taxes
Great place to eat if you are looking for a dinner spot before the Welcome Party! It's located on the first floor of the same building as the Welcome Party.
Gonza Tacos Y Tequila
Great Mexican restaurant close to our hotel block.
Sola Coffee Cafe
Coffee, pastry and breakfast spot close to the hotel block.
Umstead Park Lake
Great hiking trails that are mostly shaded by trees. Close to hotel block.
Dorothea Dix Park
Massive outdoor park that just finished a recent renovation to build Gipson Play Plaza; an adventure playground and meeting space.
Marbles Kids Museum
Great for kids!
