Question

When to arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

All guests please arrive at ceremony location by 1:45pm- Milner Garden, and Woodlands, 2179 W Island Hwy, Qualicum Beach, V9K 1G1. There will be a gravel parking lot available at the top of the garden center for parking. Please stop by the registration desk at the front of the parking lot and mention that you are a guest of the wedding. You have the option to walk down to the ceremony site. Please note that the trails down are made of gravel and wood bridges. Appropriate footwear is suggested if you decide to walk and view the gardens. A shuttle will also be available for all guests, and will be running back and forth until the ceremony begins. The arrival of 1:45pm allows for 30 minutes to walk or shuttle down to ceremony location, and arrive by 2:15pm for the ceremony. If you wish to visit the gardens and tour around, you are welcome to arrive at any time.

Cocktail or semi-formal. The bridesmaids will be wearing sage green.

While we love all of your children, please take this time to enjoy an adult only evening. Time for a night off and have some fun!

When to arrive at the reception

Answer

Please arrive at the reception location for 5:00pm- Cuckoos Trattoria and Pizzeria 2310 Alberni Hyw, Coombs, V0R 1M0. There will be snacks and drinks available upon arrival. The bridal party will be announced at 5:30pm and dinner will begin

We will provide wine or a custom Italian herbed lemonade on the table. There will be other drink’s available for purchase at the reception. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on site at Milner Gardens and woodlands

Parking?

Answer

Our ceremony location has parking available on site. There is a gravel lot at the top of the woodlands, where a shuttle will be available to transport down to the ceremony gardens. Alternatively, you can explore the gardens on your way down to the ceremony. This is quite the walk however, so please pack your walking shoes! Please allow 30 minutes to get to the ceremony upon arrival. There is also parking available up from our reception. If you plan on drinking, please make alternative arrangements ahead of time for your trip home. Taxis or Uber are available. Your vehicle can stay parked in the gravel lot over night.

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is a huge gift as is, however, we have received a few requests for a wedding registry.
