we're getting married!

Dear family and friends, We hope you and yours are healthy and safe. We have received unfortunate news regarding our wedding that has caused us to pivot our plans (once again). Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, the current Mexican government guidelines have restricted our wedding/reception to only 45 persons. Thankfully, we are still able to proceed with our wedding on January 16, 2021 in Playa del Carmen. As you can imagine, this is not how we envisioned our big day. In order to ensure a safe gathering and still meet the government guidelines, we have decided to split our party into two groups. The original wedding and reception will be reserved for our family and wedding party. We are working to ‘live stream’ the wedding ceremony for those guests in the ballroom. The ballroom will serve as an additional reception that we (Dawn and Cole) will be able to flow to throughout the evening. With these changes, we completely understand if you choose to no longer attend. We plan to have a small gathering in Dallas post-wedding to celebrate with those who cannot be there with us. Please let us know ASAP if this affects your travel plans. Your health and safety are most important to us. In addition, we want to look out for our loved ones traveling to celebrate. For this reason, we would be very appreciative if you could get a COVID test prior to leaving. We will keep you updated if we receive any additional information.
