Cole and I had been discussing getting married for about a year and anyone who knows me knows that I am not a very patient person. He had been dropping hints for quite some time that he would be proposing and would set up scenarios that would make me think he was going to propose, such as insisting we go on a Ferris Wheel. Finally in October I was waiting for him to get ready to leave to go to Duluth. I was sitting in our living room when he came in and said he needed to pick up the dishes. I didn't think anything of it until he walked back into the room and got down on one knee and proposed to me with a dollar bill ring that he had made in the middle of the night that had been sitting next to me the whole time. (This is why he faked needing to clean up dishes, he was trying to get the ring before I noticed.) It was the most special moment and I could not have asked for anything more.
