What are other towns nearby for additional lodging options?

Answer

Salida, Colorado is approx 30 minutes away & they have several excellent options for lodging.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! However, due to space constraints at our venue we ask that the ceremony and reception are adult-only occasions. We completely understand that you may want your children to join you in Colorado for the weekend away. There are multiple highly rated caregivers on care.com in the Buena Vista area that would be options for child care that evening. We also understand that there may be new mothers in attendance, thus infants are welcome.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire would be the most fitting description for dress code, however it will be an outdoor ceremony so wear what you're comfortable in!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the venue with a parking attendant's direction, along with handicap parking availability.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the dispersed nature of lodging in the area, the best options for additional transportation are Uber or Lyft. In addition, we have family members that are available to provide rides if needed. Please let us know & we'd love to assist you in finding a ride if you need one at the end of the evening.

What's the weather typically like in Buena Vista during that time of year?

Answer

70's-80's for a high; 50's for a low in the evenings. Late afternoon showers are common but typically are over quickly. Keep this in mind when considering attire. The wedding will be indoors if the weather decides not to cooperate.
