Long before any global pandemic, crashing of the housing market, and destruction of the economy, there sat Chandler in her microbiology class preparing to take her exam that she did not study for. She knew she was bound to fail her exam and would most likely need to retake the class. As Chandler was sitting in her chair awaiting her doom, her phone buzzed. She looked down and noticed that she had a friend request from a "Cole Koenig." Coincidentally, Chandler had just changed her profile picture to a dashing photo of her in a new bikini from when she was in Myrtle Beach. Chandler accepted Cole's friend request and the next thing she knew, she had a message from Cole that said, "I honestly don't remember sending you a friend request...early morning Facebook surfing, but thanks for accepting. That probably sounded weirder than I actually intended." Chandler was intrigued and the conversation continued. Eventually, Cole asked Chandler out on a date. She had never had someone ask her out on a true date. She couldn't believe how much Cole felt like a true gentleman. They eventually met for the first time at Cole's place in Marengo. The night was cool as they sat on the swing in Cole's back yard by the fire. They talked for hours and hours about their lives and began to really know one another. Pretty soon, Chandler was staying over and they both introduced each other to their parents. Chandler and Cole never really did have a "day" for when they first started dating, it just seemed to happen, as if it was meant to be, without question. At just 5 months into the relationship, they moved into their first apartment together. Since then, they have had ups and downs, moved 6 times, invited multiple animals into their home, made advancements in their careers, made wonderful memories, made new friends and family, grew together as human beings, and have fallen in love all over again. The best is yet to come.
