During our first weeks of College we met at a welcome week dance, but neither of us expected anything else out of that. By chance it seemed, we ended up at the same Bible study the next morning and began to spend a lot of time together with a group of friends just learning what being in college was like. Through that group of people we were able to grow closer and discover our shared passions for the Lord, love of sports, goofy personalities, and the small places we found joy throughout the day. Despite our first meeting seeming to be a one off occasion, it led us to a great foundation of friendship that grew into a soon to be marriage.

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went back to do all of our "Firsts". We started the morning going hiking at Palo Duro Canyon, then went to the first home football game, and re-did our first date. We went back and ate at Jalisco's, quickly played some arcade games at Main Event, and then went to "watch the sunset" in Ransom Canyon. Cole had a swing bridge over the lake covered with photos of us and got down on one knee! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with y'all! Can't wait to see you all in Comfort!
