Bus: From Albany or NYC
Check out Trailways for inexpensive, and fast travel to Kingston, NY... FROM ALBANY: There are buses that Depart from the Albany Airport and the Rensselaer Train Station that will arrive at the Kingston Bus Station (400 Washington Ave). The trip via bus should take 1-2 hours depending on your route. Price: $18-30 FROM NYC: There are buses (every 30-90 mins) scheduled to Depart from Port Authority Bus Terminal (P.A.B.T.) to the Kingston Bus Station (400 Washington Ave). This trip should take about 2-2 1/2 hours depending on your route. Price: $30-45. There are trains and buses that have direct travel from the NYC airports to P.A.B.T. From the Kingston Bus Station to the Hotels: 0.4mi (9 min walk) to Best Western, 3.3mi to Hutton Brickyards, 11.8mi to Beekman Arms

Amtrak provides transportation to a nearby town, Rhinecliff, NY (20 min drive to Kingston) FROM ALBANY: There is a train from the Albany-Rensselaer (ALB) station that will arrive in Rhinecliff, NY (nearest station to Kingston) in about 45 mins. Price: $20. **There is a mixed service through Amtrak that will pick you up from the Albany Airport (ABA) via bus, however, I would not suggest this as it will add 3 1/2 hours to your trip and it is only offered once a day. There may be public transportation available from the airport to the train station, however, a ride share (uber, lyft, taxi) is probably easiest** FROM NYC: There are trains available from the Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station (NYP) that will arrive in Rhinecliff in about 1 hour 45 mins. Price: $24 You can take the subway, buses, taxis, uber/lyft from the airports to the train station. NYC is great for public transportation! From the Rhinecliff Station to the Hotels: 2.4mi (5 mins) to Beekman Arms, 12.2mi (20 mins) to Hutton Brickyards, 13.2mi (20 mins) to Best Western Unfortunately, although the Rhinecliff station is directly across the Hudson from Kingston, there is only one bridge north of the towns to drive across...and I don't think you would want to swim across! :)
