We met in school at UW-Madison in Mineralogy & Petrology at the very end of the Spring 2010 semester. It was a full semester of me (Amara) noticing this handsome guy that seems to raise his hand an awful lot in lecture, and Cole obviously way too busy paying careful attention to notice the ultra cool girl sitting near him every day. Thanks to one geology field trip, a failed romantic (i.e. group) study date, and a few pushy friends, we finally started hanging out in Fall 2010, and by hanging out, I mean studying together and by studying together, I mean actually studying together, because this is Cole we are talking about. After a few real dates, we decided we kinda liked each other. Throughout undergrad, internships, studying abroad, graduate school, long-distance, moving to Colorado, and starting careers, we have evolved as individuals and as a pair, always supporting each other's aspirations, and we've grown more in love with each new milestone. We are so excited to celebrate our love with all our closest friends and families and to continue navigating this life happily side by side.
