Is there a COVID policy?

Answer

Out of respect for our entire guest list and our generous host country of Mexico, we ask that all attendees who are eligible show *proof of being fully vaccinated* (with booster shots as recommended by the CDC). If you do not meet this requirement, we kindly ask you to stay home and enjoy our ceremony through our livestream. Currently, there is no negative test requirement to enter Mexico or to re-enter the United States.

Why did you choose a destination wedding?

Answer

We are big travelers, so we embraced the opportunity to celebrate our love in a beautiful, tropical location with the West Coast vibes we both love so much. After the difficult last two years, we hope a destination wedding provides a much-needed getaway for our guests. However, we understand this travel will not be possible for everyone. We will love you regardless of your RSVP, and we look forward to celebrating with you over a drink upon our return!

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we respectfully request an adults-only celebration. We hope this advanced notice means you’re able to celebrate with us in this much-deserved getaway! *Please note that Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is an adults-only resort. Anyone under 18 is not allowed on the grounds, including for any wedding events.*

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

All wedding activities will take place on the grounds of Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so bring plenty of sunscreen and dress for warm weather!

Can we stay at a different resort or hotel?

Answer

We *highly recommend* all guests stay at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos during wedding events. If you stay elsewhere, you will be required to buy a day pass (a fee for the all-inclusive aspects of the resort, not the wedding events) to get on the grounds. Due to COVID capacity restrictions, these guest passes are currently limited. Let us know ASAP if you are considering staying elsewhere, and we will help you arrange payment. For convenience and to participate in all of our fun wedding activities, you'll find it much easier to reside at Secrets instead of another location. Note: Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is a 45-minute drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas, where the majority of hotels and resorts in the Los Cabos area are located.

What if I'm traveling solo?

Answer

If you are traveling by yourself and wish to save money by rooming with another confirmed guest, we will be happy to coordinate that. Please contact us at coleandkatewedding@gmail.com by June 1, 2022, so we can plan accordingly.

Where can I find more information and communicate with other guests?

Answer

All confirmed guests will be added to a private Facebook group upon their RSVP and room booking. We will use this group to discuss logistics and to plan any additional activities during our stay. Guests will also be added to a GroupMe chat the week before the wedding, for easy communication while on resort grounds.

Is there wifi at the resort?

Answer

Yes! Secrets Los Puertos has reliable wifi for your usage. However, any cellular data use will require an international phone plan, so please contact your carrier for more information.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

December weather in Cabo is beautiful! Daily highs are usually between 79 and 82 degrees, with nightly lows between 62 and 65 degrees. Make sure to bring your sunscreen and sun hats for afternoons by the pool!

Kate loves being a Miller, and she’s keeping her last name. You can call us Mr. Cole Finley and Mrs. Kate Miller.
