True high school sweethearts, it was the Fall of 2013 and Colby and I were introduced through a mutual friend. I was going into my sophomore year of high school and Colby was going into his junior year of high school, but it was love at first sight. We went on a few dates and knew that we were the perfect pair. I instantly fell in love with his kind and gentle personality. We balanced each other out perfectly. We were best friends. We've been inseparable since October 14, 2013, when Colby asked me to be his girlfriend. We've taken on all of life's highs and lows together. Together, we enjoy traveling, anything outside, summer days on the river, cooking up new foods in the kitchen, loving on our two fur babies Minnie and Bella, and spending time with our favorite girl, Sierra. There is nothing we love more than to experience life and everything it has to offer together. While I headed off to Columbia College to pursue a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Colby remained in Conway to complete Horry Georgetown Technical College's Nursing program. After dating through high school and into college, on December 2, 2017, Colby asked me to marry him. I said YES! I cannot wait to marry my best friend and begin the rest of our lives together.
