Matron of Honor
Nicole and I first met when I joined the freshman volleyball team while she was on varsity as a senior. She kindly took me under her wing, and our friendship blossomed over the years, even as we lived thousands of miles apart during college and after. Nicole is a shining light in my life, and I truly can’t imagine my life without her.
Maid of Honor
I met Hannah during my sophomore year of college, and I honestly don't think I would have made it through without her. Just two days after we met, we became so close that people assumed we had been friends for years - and even said we looked alike! Hannah quickly became my rock, and I truly believe she is my twin flame. She's also the coolest person I know, and I constantly find myself wishing I could be as cool as her.
Maid of Honor
Hannah and I still debate whether we first became friends in 6th or 7th grade, but either way, we've been through everything together - the good, the bad, and the ugly. At this point, we've been friends for more of our lives than not. No matter what, I know she'll always be there for me, and I'll always be there for her. I also know no matter where I live, Hannah will visit and she will also visit that zoo. She's my Sunshine forever.
Bridesmaid
My baby sister, Mya, was born on the day of my 9th birthday party, and I can’t imagine life without her. When my mom was pregnant, and we didn’t know if the baby would be a boy or a girl, we visited Build-A-Bear Workshop. I wished on the heart of my bear that the baby in her belly would be a girl, and my wish came true. Even though we’re nine years apart, Mya is one of my best friends.
Bridesmaid
The baby of the family, my Keira Jo, completed our family when she was born. As a little girl, she always came up with the funniest quips and left us wondering where she got her humor. One of my favorite things was dressing up Mya and Keira, putting makeup on them, and taking glamour shots—my own real-life baby dolls. Keira also happens to be the coolest person I know, and she keeps me young.
Bridesmaid
Carley is the sister of the groom, but she has become so much more to me. When I met Colby, I never expected to feel so close to his sister right off the bat. I feel so lucky to be gaining not just a sister, but also a best friend.
Best Man
Derek and I really became good friends because of our soccer team, the Heat. Our friendship blossomed as we bonded over our love for the game and countless video game marathons. Even as we grew older and went off to pursue our studies, we remained connected, eventually becoming college roommates at the University of Cincinnati. Those years only strengthened our bond, filled with laughter, late-night gaming sessions, and road trips exploring new places together. It's amazing how our shared experiences have kept us close, no matter where life takes us.
Best Man
My childhood best friend Taylor and I shared an incredible journey filled with fun and competition. We started by playing baseball against each other, where we developed a fierce rivalry that only strengthened our friendship. Our bond deepened as we played video games together, creating countless memorable moments. During our college years, we made it a tradition to visit each other—me at UC and him at OSU—which added to our shared experiences. We also enjoyed working out together, hitting the basketball court, and embarking on exciting road trips and vacations. Through all these adventures, Taylor has remained a constant source of support and laughter in my life.
Best Man
Luckily, Derek also had a pretty cool twin brother, Dylan. Him and I grew up playing soccer together, forging a bond that was as strong as our competitive spirits on the field. We spent countless weekends practicing our skills and enjoying video game marathons, always finding time for laughter and goofing off. Our friendship truly flourished when we became college roommates at the University of Cincinnati, alongside his brother Derek. Those years were filled with unforgettable memories, long walks to work out at the gym, to spontaneous trips that deepened our connection. Even now, we continue to stay in touch through vacations, road trips, and gaming. I truly cherish the wonderful friendship we’ve built over the years.
Groomsman
What can I say about Colton that everyone doesn't already know? Even though he is 16 years younger than me, he has always held a special place in my heart. I’ve had the joy of helping him grow up, guiding him through various stages of his life, and I still try to play an active role in his world today. Even after moving to Cincinnati and then Minnesota, our bond remains strong. We regularly connect over our shared love for football and hockey, playing Fortnite together, and enjoy countless FaceTime chats that keep us close, no matter the distance. It’s heartwarming to see how our relationship continues to thrive, and I cherish every moment we share!
Groomsman
Carter was the troublemaker during our childhood, always finding ways to get under my skin (as younger brothers do). Despite his knack for mischief, we shared a deep passion for sports that brought us closer together. His sense of humor always lightened the mood, and he had a talent for making even the toughest days feel a little brighter. Now, reflecting on his journey, I couldn't be prouder of the person he's become; he's still the troublemaker who loves to stir the pot, but he always want the best out of everyone he meets. He knows how to brighten the room and get the laughter flowing!
Groomsman
Hunter Sjoberg is not only Kennedy's cousin but also an incredibly fun and hilarious guy. His sense of humor is contagious, and his energy always lights up any room. I’m beyond excited that he agreed to step up and be a groomsman—he’s going to make the day even more memorable!
