State Street

State Street

State Street, Madison, WI

If you want to see some cute local shops or grab a bite to eat from a food cart, head down State Street. There is also never any lack of entertainment. Be sure to check out the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, which has many free exhibits.

Wisconsin State Capitol

Henry Vilas Zoo

University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum

1207 Seminole Highway, Madison, WI 53711

This is a great place to visit that is closer to downtown. You can venture into the woods for a hike, walk through the blooming trees, or simply walk through the Arboretum on the paved road. Look out for the wild turkeys!

The gardens here are GORGEOUS and free to visitors. There is a small fee to visit the indoor tropical conservatory.
