We're Getting Married!

In April of 2021, one of Alyssa's friends, Linzey Smith (bridesmaid), and Colby's friends, Eric Brehmer (Best Man), introduced the two to each other at the NIACC dorms. Since that night in the dorms, the two have been inseparable, dating after only a month of knowing each other. That fall, they went on to do a school year of "distance" while Colby was studying at UNI and Alyssa was at NIACC. In 2023, they moved in together to an apartment in Cedar Falls, where they both attended school. 2024 came, and they endured a full school year of actual "distance", as Colby had his first year of optometry school in Oklahoma, and Alyssa had ultrasound clinicals in Des Moines. March 20th, 2025, Colby proposed in Alyssa's family golf room, where their first date had been 4 years prior. Fast forward to now, they both live in Oklahoma and are slowly preparing for their best date yet, 08/08/2026! Can't wait to see you all there!
