Yes, but we do not recommend as it is a long journey (approximately 5 hours). There are plenty of flights daily from Paris to Nice if you plan to be in Paris prior to the wedding.
Yes, but if you are coming with more than a carry on, be prepared to potentially carry the luggage up stairs on the train and from the tram to the train. From Nice Airport, there is a free tram line, which links Nice Airport with Nice St-Augustin train station. You could train from Gare Nice St-Augustin to Gare de Villefranche-sur-Mer or Gare de Beaulieu-sur-Mer, depending on your accommodations, and it will be about 15mins.
