Question

I heard traffic can be challenging around Zion National Park. Any suggestions?

Answer

Yes. Zion National Park is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations, and the wedding will be held during the high season. It is a breathtaking drive and is an experience to remember. With that said, if you are driving in from the west, we recommend that you stay near the park so that you can beat the traffic. We don't recommend mid-day or afternoon drives through the park. Plan on leaving early from St. George or staying closer to the park if at all possible. Routes around the park are longer (read: will add at least an hour to your travel time) but will avoid any worst-case scenarios. Staying somewhere east of the park (East Zion or Kanab) is also a terrific option.

Question

Does it cost money to travel through the park?

Answer

Yes. There is a recreation fee to travel through any of the national parks in the state. A seven-day pass can be purchased for $30 that will cover everyone in the vehicle.

Question

When is check-in time at Clear Creek Ranch?

Answer

Check-in time is at 3 p.m. on Saturday. There are lots of great things to do in the area, including exploring Zion National Park, horseback trail rides and day trips to Bryce Canyon National Park and the Best Friends Animal Society.

Question

When is check-out time from Clear Creek Ranch?

Answer

Check-out time is 10 a.m. We will have food for everyone down at the pavilion for breakfast. You can eat before 10 a.m. or immediately after check out at 10 a.m.
