Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st using the RSVP tab on this website.

Question

What does Dressy Casual/Western Wear mean? What should I wear to Welcome Night?

Answer

The dress code for our Welcome Night is dressy casual. For women, dresses, skirts, nice pants or dark jeans with a top are appropriate. For men, dark jeans or slacks with a button-down or polo, with or without a blazer are appropriate. Since we’ve spent the past three years living in Denver and the Mountain West has been the backdrop to so many milestones in our relationship, we’re adding a fun Western theme to the night. If you feel inspired, you’re welcome to add a touch of Western flair - boots, denim, turquoise jewelry, a bolo tie, a cowboy hat - but it’s completely optional. P.S. There will be a mechanical bull if that impacts your outfit choice!

Question

What is black-tie optional attire for the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are black-tie optional events. For men, tuxedos or dark formal suits are appropriate. For women, floor length gowns, midi dresses or pantsuits are appropriate. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside on grass and the reception will be held indoors.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We kindly request that this be an adults-only weekend.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding for onsite Dorset Inn/Barrows House guests. For offsite guests, parking is available at the Old Gray Barn.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please specify your dietary restrictions in the RSVP tab. All dishes can be made GF and/or DF and there is a vegan/vegetarian option.
