Annapolis
A quick 25 minute drive from Kent Island is where we call home! Annapolis is filled with good food, water views and all things Maryland history. Annapolis even has its own winery (Great Frogs) and brewery (Forward Brewing)! Fun fact - we got engaged in the gardens of the William Paca House in downtown Annapolis!
Baltimore
If you travel north about 45 minutes, you'll find yourself in Baltimore - home to the best NFL team (go Ravens!). Known for its famous aquarium, Inner Harbor, and history, Baltimore makes for a great day trip. It is also where you can get some of the best crab cakes in all of Maryland. "Crab cakes and football - that's what Maryland does!"
District of Columbia
For those willing to journey out a little farther, DC is just under an hour from Kent Island. The nation's capital is one of our favorite cities and also where we met! DC has an amazing food scene, the beautiful monuments and some of the best museums this country has to offer!
Quiet Waters Park
Quiet Waters is a park near Annapolis that has multiple trails, bike paths and water areas great for kids and dogs or for a cute outdoorsy walk.
