We met in person at Poet’s Walk in Rhinebeck, NY after initially connecting through Facebook. I (Christine) had been working since 3:30 AM, while Jeremy spent the morning watching a church sermon online due to Covid restrictions. We both knew God had a purpose for our meeting. We spent 7 hours roaming the grounds of the state park and talking. By the end of the date, we were both smitten. He then felt a tug at his heart and asked me to be his girlfriend. I’m not sure why, but i had already fallen head over heels for him that first day and said yes. The majority of the first half of our relationship was spent under heavy Covid restrictions. During this, we took advantage of home cooked meals, me getting take out and meeting him midweek at whatever stop he had with his truck. It was’t long before we both said I Love You to each other. I knew i wanted to marry him by our second month together and I knew it was God’s will.
