Are your children welcome to attend these wedding events?

Answer

- Welcome Party at Glenn Otto Park: Yes, this is a wonderful place to bring children. There's a playground near the picnic area, and the river is great for swimming. - Wedding Day at Bridal Veil Lakes: Yes, kids invited are welcome to join the wedding festivities, however please note the following. A) We ask that you step away during the short wedding ceremony (there's lots of space around the grounds to do so) if little ones are restless or need interaction. B) As mentioned above, the venue is vast and also has a sizable lake. Please keep this in mind when planning how your kids will be supervised.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation to and from the venue. Transport will depart from Troutdale (~20 minutes from the venue), and return to the same location at the end of the night. In the RSVP section, there will be a question regarding transportation. Please help us by filling this out if you plan to use our provided transportation service. If your party responds yes to the transportation services, we will be in contact with you regrading further details for pickup time and location. Thank you for being responsible on the roads and completing this so we have an accurate headcount!

Online Mapping or GPS Address: When using online mapping or GPS, use the following address for best directions: Henderson Rd. Corbett, OR 97019 Directions Eastbound (from Portland) Take I-84 East Exit at Bridal Veil using Exit #28 At the fork in the road, stay to the right and continue 1 mile westbound on the Historic Columbia River Highway When you pass Bridal Veil Scenic Viewpoint State Park on the right, take the gravel road on the left. This is the entrance to Bridal Veil Lakes. Follow the signs to Bridal Veil Lakes, approximately 1 mile Directions Westbound (from Hood River) Take I-84 West Exit at Dodson using Exit #35 Follow the Historic Columbia River Highway westbound for 8 miles When you pass Bridal Veil Scenic Viewpoint State Park on the right, take the gravel road on the left. This is the entrance to Bridal Veil Lakes. Follow the signs to Bridal Veil Lakes, approximately 1 mile

What does Bridal Veil look like?

Answer

Bridal Veil is a large outdoor venue in the Columbia River Gorge. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass. Keep this in mind when selecting your footwear! We are hoping for perfect weather, but it is Oregon. Check your weather app during the week prior and plan accordingly.
