Great brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. They have food, and typically food trucks outside. If you are lucky, they might have a live band.
Tour the historic flour mill that exploded. The ruins are typically open for free to walk inside (entrance on the river side), but the museum inside charges a fee.
Catch a show if you arrive early or walk the loooooooong cantilever viewing area.
Walk the stone arch bridge or the other countless trails along the river—plenty of food options on both sides. Set up a hammock between some trees if you want to relax, one of our favorite spots to do it.

Walk around the chain of lakes in Minneapolis. Lake of the Isles is Joey's favorite because it is quiet and has interesting homes to look at.
