Jordan and Molly met at a friend's party in 2011 in their hometown at age 19. Jordan will tell you Molly did not say a word to him, and Molly will tell you she was just shy at the time. Little did Molly know that Jordan had a 'crush' on her from the start. Years passed as distant friends and acquaintances, sometimes with an occasional catch-up on Facebook. Jordan served in multiple deployments for the US Marine Corps, and Molly went to college and moved away to Austin, TX for some time. Their paths would soon cross again... At the very end of 2019, they happened to meet up with a mutual group of friends for a night out. Molly always thought Jordan was handsome, and this time, in a feat of courage, she told her girlfriends, "I think I'm going to go for it." She made her move, and thankfully, Jordan felt the same way. They started dating a few months later once Jordan returned from a 6 month military training. Due to the fact that the entire first year of their relationship was long-distance, they had the opportunity to get to know each other through many phone calls and texts, and simply have fun learning about one another. Their love for one another was built on a deep sense of friendship, as well as a truly classic story of 'opposites attract.' Many moments spent with each other's families, friends, and as partners grew their deep love and friendship for each other. Jordan planned a surprise proposal on a weekend trip to Traverse City, MI, where he asked Molly to marry him overlooking Lake Michigan. Of course, their German Shepherd, Zeke, was also in attendance. Years later, they share a home together in Chicago, IL. Jordan and Molly could not have found each other and built their life together without the love and support of their family and close friends. Their wedding will be a celebration of their love story, as well as an ode to the folks that helped them get here. We look forward to celebrating with you! Love, Molly & Jordan
